The Archaic Collection of Anomalous Brainchildren is an ancient

assortment of books, maps, manuals, illustrations, reports, documents,

ancient bills, grimoires, all produced and cared for by the members of

The Mare Crisium Soviet Socialist Regency.

Q2: What does The Collection include?

The tradition maintained by the members of The Soviet is that all the

material included in The Collection is in the form of text files.

Apart from that, The Collection has no specific theme or preference for

genres or subjects: all the textual and illustrative material consisting

of text as produced by the members of The Soviet and considered useful,

beautiful, or otherwise worthy or interesting is included in The

Collection and shared with the community.

Q3: Who can access The Collection?

The Collection is accesible for consultation by all the members of the

galaxy, through simple protocols like gopher and gemini. The members of

The Soviet traditionally have the additional right and responsibility to

add new items to The Collection, drawing from their own papers, novels,

poems, documents, tutorials, guides, books of recipes, grimoires,

incantations, etc. The material in The Collection is curated by all the

members of The Soviet, in a collective and cooperative way.

Q4: How can I add a resource to The Collection?

The collection is just a series of git repositories. To add a resource

you can either add it to one of the existing repositories (which are

approximatively organised as topics or sections), or request the

addition of a new topic/section (repository). More information about

Q5: What kind of resources can I add to The Collection?

The Collection can contain only original textual material created by the

members of The Soviet. By "original" we mean that the material is your

own creation, or creative addition to existing stuff. By "textual" we

mean "consisting of text characters". This obviously includes ASCII arts

and other textual artwork. In other words: You cannot add images or

stuff of which you do not hold the copyright.

Q6: Who can modify the available resources?

Any member of The Soviet can modify, change, add, remove, any of the

material present in The Collection, at any time. Members of The Soviet

are respectful of their peers, considerate of each other's work, and

feel empowered by the responsibility of contributing to The Collection,

collectively and in harmony.

Q7: How do I request the addition of a new topic/section (repository)?

You send a request to The Union, by writing an email to

union@soviet.circumlunar.space and indicating the section you would like

to add.

Q8: How should each section be organised?

There is no prescribed or settled way. The curators and contributors of

a section decide how to organise the material of the section/topic,

collectively. There is no single responsible for a section/topic, there

is no hierarchy and no voting: all the members of The Soviet are

collectively responsible for contributing to The Collection.
