Hello everyone!

Recently, I learned about the idea of the small web. As a heavy user of social media, I loved the idea of radically cutting down on pretty/flashy stuff and focus on content. Enough with all the likes and retweets. No ads, no tracking, no cookies that stick with you forever.

Now, I set up this home server on my Raspberry Pi zero, so I am working with minimal hardware here. Still, everything seems to get served pretty fast. My plan is to keep a regularly updated gemlog here (everyone seems to do that).

I am also planning on using finger as a kind of microblog replacement. We will see how this works, which is mainly down to having a comfortable tool to update my profile regularly.
