About me

You might have asked yourself who you are dealing with here.

I am a small web enthusiast who is currently working at a German university as a researcher. Unlike the vast majority in the gemspace, I am not a technology guy, but a behavioral scientist. I am into self-hosting as a hobby, but my coding skills are limited to statistical programming in R and some basics in Python and bash.

I am married and have two kids. To stay at least somewhat healthy, I work out a couple of times a week. I also like to cook and I don't say no to an occasional video game either, especially retro stuff.

This space is meant as an escape pod from the WWW, which leaves me increasingly disgruntled. Here, I would like to share what matters to me.

That's it for now. I might add something in the future.

About this server

I self-host this gemini capsule on a Raspberry Pi Zero. This tiny little device also runs a finger server that I use for some micro blogging, and a gopher server that I still find out how to use (I never wrote a gopher map in my life).
