huh! you just uncovered a bug. thanks! because actually, you are able to set a username when commenting, by writing something like:

peter: hi, I am peter!

And guess what, right now I just take whatever comes before the first colon (up to a certain limit). So whoever you are, first user of gmlgcd, thanks for showing me this! :D And yes, as you might already have figured, the comment files are just files that can be edited like any other as well. But to come back to your request, I would probably want to fix that before releasing. Do you have any suggestions on a license? cheers!
