Interesting location. Aristarchus is the crater to the north east with a brighter wall; through the eyepiece it appeared to be quite deep. Herodotus (not on my list) is the the adjoining crater to the south west. It seemed to create an interesting junction of shadows connecting it with Vallis Schröteri.

The valley runs north then west, and finally turns south. While very narrow it was easily seen in the eyepiece; a very marginal shadow bordered by a very bright white highlight.
