Apple started demanding updates for Dodgy Rocks for unspecified reasons. As far as I know, 1.3.0 is working fine, it just hasn't been updated for a while and I guess Big-A don't like that.
I tried porting the game to Godot Engine 3.6 (the latest 3.x series at the time of writing) but ran in to problems with the tweening system. It had been overhauled in 3.5 and, while the code I had should have worked, it didn't and would need to be rewritten to use the new system. However, I was able to update to 3.3 (from 3.2) with only minor changes.
I also took the opportunity to drop the in app purchases and unlock the full game for free for everyone. To add purchases in the first place required a custom build of Godot Engone as the iOS IAP support was missing an essential callback hook. Like tweens, IAP support changed a lot in later 3.x versions and I didn't want to either rewrite my IAP handler or continue to use a custom engine build. Hardly anyone ever bought the upgrades anyway. Enjoy!
And I did fix one little bug with the tutorial!
Dodgy Rocks iOS 1.3.1 is now available on the App Store.
Forget it. I'm done with Android. Apart from the zero downloads, API upgrade demands, device testing, and Byzantine release processes that make Apple's hoops look trivial, my developer account is currently trapped in a Limbo where Google demand I doxx myself on their store and won't let me delete my account unless I do. I'm ignoring and waiting out the threats to force-close my account. Bring it. I want it. I've asked you to do that already multiple times, just pull the damn trigger and set me free.
In the meantime, I've pulled all my games from the Play Store. Cheerio.
