I love short film programmes and this weekend there was a programme of sci-fi and horror shorts in East London. There were a few themes that recurred such as on-demand clones, the climate catastrophe and time manipulation.
Some of the shorts were clearly pitches for long projects but there were equally a number of well-produced entirely self-contained films and the programming felt good with a good flow through the presentations.
The day pass was reasonably priced at £20 a head as well.
