2023-01-09 09:00:53 so far it's been ok. I'm not used to things like optionals, and there are some odd bits in the syntax for things like & to denote operators that allow for overflow

2023-01-09 09:06:03 it's much less verbose than objective c, which I like from a typing perspective

2023-01-09 09:06:57 but I'm more comfortable w/objective c (which probably makes sense as I've used that for a few years, and swift only briefly so far)

2023-01-09 21:24:34 my ilo-in-swift is now functional, but still pretty buggy (possibly due to swift playground limitations)
