The big question

This site is mostly going to be a digital notebook I use to keep track of my attempts to answer the big question: "How are we to live?"

Encouraged by my friend Alissa, I'm toying with the idea of a "pamphlet" (digital or possibly physical) exploring questions like:

• What does an effective politics look like as our ecosystems collapse around us?
• How can respect for Indigenous sovereignty be reconciled with a rejection of borders and property?
• Is a kind of anarchist society even possible in a world with such powerful states and complex technologies?

Some people will probably say the answer to one or more of these question is obvious. I'm eager to learn from and with others, but ultimately I need to work this through for myself.
