I've had a few milk stouts now, so I decided to go and look up what that actually means. Apparently they don't add any milk directly, but instead they use lactose which is the sugar found in milk. The lactose doesn't ferment during the brewing process and leaves behind a distinct sweet, fresh flavor.

This is a fun, light desert beer. The appearance is a deep brown. It tastes like drinking the left-over milk at the bottom of a bowl of cocoa puffs. I wish it was a bit stronger; with more of a rich and chocolaty profile. But I'm not complaining, I enjoy it for what it is.

Would I buy it again?

Yes.
