Let's go! I've had a few other barrel aged beers from OddSide and they tend to gravitate towards the thick and syrupy site of the spectrum. This one certainly follows suit, and packs a punch at 12% ABV.

All of the advertised flavors are accounted for:

✓ Hazelnut

✓ Coffee

✓ Bourbon

I'm not usually a fan of the nutty profiles that are prevalent in porters. However, in this case it blends nicely with the barley and bourbon and ends up tasting something like a Ferrero Rocher truffle. I need to go buy some truffles for the holidays. They make great gifts!

Would I buy it again?

Yes, although I have seen this particular beer the store and passed on it because of the price was a bit too high for my blood.

How much could I drink in one night?

Two or three.
