Irresolute and apathetic, you stand amidst the city with indifference. A red, green, violet streak arcs through the sky: a massive comet. It strikes the earth with a ear-piercing blast, the sound of a thousand bombs striking a single target.

Suddenly the city smolders with the intensity of a furnace, a blazing inferno of crackling embers and burning ash. The sparks and white-hot ash fall and singe the hair from your arms, bore burning holes through your clothes. Still you stand in defiance of the plight around you, and that of your own. A stark statue of unflinching expression, a stoic stare into the abyss.

The world burns...

and strangely, a sense of release washes over you.
