I mean if I'm being honest it literally doesn't MATTER to me if you vote, so there's no need to keep replying to me that you did but reasons.
My whole thing is that after 35+ years of studying the problem I have become convinced that ending fascism, colonialism, white supremacy, capitalist extraction, power hierarchies, imperialism, patriarchy, ableism, anti-LGBTQ persecution, racism, the carceral state, slavery, climate catastrophe, etc are not on the ballot and will require revolution.

Given actions I know must be undertaken for freedom, equality, and the survival of billions of people on a habitable planet are not on the ballot, and never will be, I am equally unconcerned with "not voting" as I am with "voting" as a function of antifascism, resistance or positive change. I do not begrudge you, your vote - I just don't want to talk about why voting for fascism, capitalism, imperialism, a police state is actually opposing the other fascism, capitalism, imperialism, police state

@AnarchoNinaWrites
I'm that guy.
I don't actually want or like either imperialist party, but I absolutely vote every time.
I think of it as pain management.
It's definitely not about freedom or equality or even survival of the planet. It's only self-defense, not opposition to imperialism.
And so, I have to do both; defend and oppose. It's tiring. But as you indicate, one is not the other. If you want both, you must do both.
