@GottaLaff They have been jonesing to sell off post offices for eons. That property is worth billions. Plus then to get our mail we have to pay Amazon exorbitant rates. State Capture of services is always a first step. (It’s called State Capture because private entities capture things normally run by the “State” ie federal government. The name always stops me for a sec.)

This has been a rightwing nutjob wet dream for decades. Yes, the P.O. real estate portfolio alone is worth many billions, prime city center and suburban locations.

Apart from the mind boggling rapaciousness, it would only be an early step to something much darker.
