Please resist the urge to make sweeping predictions.
Some fool on here wrote a long-ass post asserting that there will be violence at the Feb. 5 protests.
As anyone who's participated in than a few of them understands, protests can be complicated and unpredictable.
No one can credibly predict that a rally, march or civil disobedience will turn violent.
Predictions about complicated events are worthless at best.
Right now, the fediverse desperately needs more news and fewer takes.
