The difference between Actions and Affect are a thing that i've been thinking about a lot, both in terms of observing how the US Federal Gov is operating, and the reactions that people are having.
Not everyone is impacted by actions in the same way, nor are they going to have the same reactions. Yelling at people to react the same way you're reacting is occasionally a good idea, but very often not.
