[#]FPQuestion of the day: What defunct pen brands do you wish were still around? Or, for what pen brands do you wish you had been around to experience it while it still existed? If you could choose to revive one out-of-production pen brand, what would you pick? #FountainPens

@penfount This is a minor one but I miss Italix -- I liked their black enamel pens and being able to get a wider range of grinds on a $60 pen was nice.

@penfount When I was young, my dad had a variety of beautiful Cross and Sheaffer ballpoint pens. Neither brand seems to be what they were and I rarely if ever have heard of fountain pen users discussing them. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

@penfount I think it’s a shame that Geha (Gebrüder Hartmann) is no longer an active pen brand. It was bought by competitor Pelikan and relegated to office machines like shredders and laminators. If they had survived I feel like the choice in school pens would not be so poor these days— Pelikan, Lamy, Online, cheap Chinese pens.
I have a few Geha pens but they are extremely hard to find these days. They are very good.
