Everyone jokes about how bad their aim is in the franchise, but nobody talks about how poor the training is, or how the military manufacturing complex of the Empire is compromised by cutting corners for a profit while blaming saboteurs. Conscripts are put into a uniform that kinda fits. They die. Rinse the undamaged gear. Repeat the process.
