I really work completely different than anybody in my team. I believe in doing it properly the first time so you don’t have to go back and redo. I also do little things that makes it easier in the future. In short I am lazy and I don’t like extra work. I could be from a different plant. It’s really difficult.

@Bowreality That describes my wife and I at work too. I’ll add that some people will expend more time and energy complaining or trying to get out of a job, than it would take to just do the task.

@CAWguy I found this quote recently and that’s really how I operate: “The greatest dichotomy in life is whatever makes it easier in the short term will make it harder in the long term and what makes it harder in the short term improves your life in the long term.”
