This past week on my commute there has been someone writing homophobic and fascist stuff, so I've been covering it up. This is not to pat myself on the back, but to share how easy it is to carry a can of spray paint with you to make sure those things get covered as quickly as possible so that they know we are there to hold the line. Fascism is persistent, so we must be persistent as well.

@timkahn @SRLevine During trumps first term I shifted my schedule to go in early and tear down all the nazi recruiting flyers before the students arrived in campus. There are a lot of easy little jobs to do. Beware of razor blades taped to the back of flyers though.

@robert_cassidy I'm in the middle of moving the lab onto campus (happening for real finally, first small amount of stuff went with the movers on Friday, I have walkthroughs with EHS in both current and new spaces this week) so I guess I can join in the fun on that one. Anyplace near NS1 I should check regularly? I basically know nothing about where the undergrads hang out when they aren't in lab/class.

@SRLevine They mostly show up around other flyers - those locations probably changed quite a bit since covid as functions in that area moved quite a bit. But near the lecture halls was always a starting point.
