i do kind of agree that IP in general has lost the plot. especially when its microsoft properties laundering stolen work and then claiming the laundered work is "theirs" now.
i would say gen ai is fine but it can never be copyrighted (original FCC ruling got it right) and the artist stamp has to have AI in the artist/performer relevant tags :gutkato_roboto:
that being said i wouldn't fund gen ai or care much about it. we are literally one goddamn algorithmic discovery from spike nets emulating sentience :blobcatgooglynotlikethis: everyone sleeps on this
