@RememberUsAlways @grrlscientist “the largest donor to humanitarian causes of any nation” is also very disingenuous, as the reason the US does this is precisely to gain soft power over nations and create dependency as opposed to autonomy, very ironically, the way to perpetuate capitalism around the world ends up being subsidizing the countries you exploit
