@Ruth_Mottram I wonder if the EU is pondering what to do with software too. I mean, one thing is the cost (tariffs) another is the likely/potential instability and not least data breaches from all of the big ones. How to respond if/when Microsoft complies with some weird EO.

@Koefoed @Ruth_Mottram Schleswig-Holstein (small state in Germany) is moving away from Microsoft. Unfortunately, other states are not really on that path, yet. Even more problematic, countries, like Denmark, who are way more digital than Germany, have often a huge dependency on US software and service companies. Still there is already an OSS program of and by the EU pointing to an OSS future. We will see if we are fast enough.
