Chaga (Polypore incrusté) - Inonotus obliquus

Le Polypore incrusté est un champignon lignivore parasite des Bétulacées (bouleaux) et des Fagacée (hêtres). La forme stérile, appelée Chaga, est un chancre protubérant et pérenne coloré de brun foncé à brun rougeâtre ou prend l'apparence du charbon de bois brûlé.
