Elon Musk being allowed to have his private sector henchmen illegally infiltrate all elements of the Execute Branch and do blatantly illegal things is just the extension of the PayPal Mafia ethos that got us here: "laws are for losers" and "what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine." Letting them operate like this with impunity for 25 years taught them they can get away with it. They have gotten away with it to date. Are we going to let them get away with it now that it's about taking control of the entire federal government for all intents and purposes and bending it to help them line their pockets and grab even more power? #ElonMusk #BillionairesShouldNotExist #rant

I'm baffled!
I'm not sure whether I should be worried about how your country is basically torn apart for the sake of the private entities or if others will see this as a model to follow in other countries in this world, including mine. Just because look, America is doing it!!!

@petrescatraian Be worried about both, frankly. Musk and his broligarchs are already running that play in the UK and Germany. You have more laws to make it harder but they are going to try anyway. I'm sure there are local oligarchs trying for that as well.

@hankg @petrescatraian I also think (in the UK at least) there is more protection because of the parliamentary system - there is not the same amount of power as is rolled up into the executive branch.
