Also discovered today that apparently loctite / thread locking compounds just... aren't a thing in Mexico? I went to like 5 ferreterías and at best got a vague look of recognition when I described what I was looking for and my Spanish isn't that bad.

@ZaneSelvans I have some friends going to Mexico City from NYC in early March. I think you're pretty far from the DF, but if it makes any sense I could send them with a care package to you, including Loc-Tite.
