our friends keep saying things like "holly and amy think they're immune to lead poisoning" which is frankly a ridiculous and unfair characterization. we know that we aren't immune to lead poisoning. we simply feel like we are which is very different

there is, indeed, a part of this brain that goes "it's just lead, it can't hurt you. like what is it going to do, it's a metal. it's fine"

but we know it's wrong so we don't fuck with lead much
