If you're happy with your instance then you shouldn't really migrate, but it's quite nice migrating.

You get a real different experience each time.

idk the reach or something of this instance seems a lot more that the last instance I was on.

Things are more likely to get boosted it seems.

@lydiaconwell I agree about boosting on todon.nl and todon.eu, seems like these 2 instances are more likely to be seen, maybe cause we say more interesting things (joking)

Yep, it's like the standards are quiet high, thus when you toot, you want to, at least, aim to an equivalent level of discussion or arguing.

I mean, even if I often toot humour or stupid things, I try to reach the top, even in bad taste...but I'll never be so dumb as a Twitter hater, that, I can't compete.

@lydiaconwell I was just about to migrate for the first time, looking forward to seeing what it's like! I feel like my reach here has fallen off over time so it will be interesting to see if that's down to the instance or if it's just me 😅

@hyperlinkyourheart I found out my account or instance was limited by mstdn.social for some reason. I think there might be more of that with more and more people joining and therefore reporting things they don't like.

I don't know if the limits/suspensions follow you to a new instance though.

But the main thing is this instance is larger than the previous, which has 5 users.
