@mtechman Yeah I showed it to my husband and took a picture, just in case. I want to make sure it's not travelling or something

@stephanie That reminds me of when I asked a friend (a vet) about pieces of Pyrex in my hand from a fall, and she said I'd be fine, but if I were a dog, she'd be getting me ready for operating room 👀

@stephanie Did you pinch it in anything recently? Is the blue bump something similar to a varicose vein, but hyper localized to wherever the injury was? If it looks like that but you don't remember any injury, it could be a clot. Not a big deal if it's in young finger, but could be if it dislodges.

I'd say just keep an eye on it, but since it might take a while to get an appointment, might be worth calling your Dr now, just in case? Could always cancel if it clears up fine.

@AmeliasBrain yeah I've been wondering about a clot! We're monitoring to be sure, as it doesn't look like a bite, and it's very very blue lol
