Great site to see which states use the most SNAP benefits.

This isn't about who needs them. I'm happy my taxes go for such a good program---but let's raise it so people can buy healthier foods, too.

Important point: this article also covers the positive impact these benefits have on the economy. Eliminating SNAP or significantly reducing benefits would be a shock that could be enough on its own (but it wont happen on its own) to cause a crash.

Please, if you are able, prepare for the coming crash.

I'm not a millionaire by any stretch, but I do have a pension and have started my SS process. I have already set aside a small amount of money specifically for assisting programs that may no longer exist for people.

I can 100% spare $5 or $10 dollars for this.

Same people who want to destroy SNAP for millions of families are braying about making more babies. And giving more federal benefits to places with higher rates of marriage and children.

This exactly. Then once the kids are in school, they want to control everything that child learns...no true history, plenty of religious drivel masquerading as "teaching the golden rule."
