the funniest joke a video game can make is baiting the player to say "you're lying" or "that's a metaphor, right?" and then going "no"

I probably described the category badly because it's just any time the video game's method of communication with the player is the joke.

So stuff like "Chapter 9: The Part Where He Kills You" and any time a timer in the HUD of a video game shows the wrong number during a voice line is the same type of joke to me.
