So tomorrow is Hourly Comic Day. I tried to find more info on it, and found one post from 2015 saying the "make each hourly comic about what you did that hour" was optional?

Is that true?

I've seen people do other projects with it yeah. Just be making a small comic every hour to achieve the goal

@anke It's like every art challenge type of thing -- everything is optional, as long as you're operating in the spirit of the thing. (Nobody's stopping you just not doing, say, an Inktober prompt.)

I think the part of Hourly Comic Day that matters is the drawing a comic every hour part -- nobody can stop you doing whatever you want with that, it doesn't have to be journal comics.
