Premier Peter Malinauskas says the project his brother Robert at Santos oversaw is "globally leading" and an "important innovation". Meanwhile an energy economics expert says the numbers are tiny in the scheme of Australia's emissions and will not do anything to combat climate change..

The attached article regarding conflict of interest between the Premiers role and his brother and sister who both work at Santos, is from 2022, also note that in 2023 directly after protesters protested against Santos, Premier Peter Malinauskas passed the fastest piece of legislation in australian history banning protesting with a $50,000 fine and 3 months jail.. Coincidence?...
