In Idsegahuizum (municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân, province of #Friesland) bird flu has been detected at an egg farm. To prevent the spread of the virus, the approximately 25,000 animals at the location are being culled by the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA).

@GMIK69 You look at the differences in national approach and they're moving to intensively monitor all the farms in the area and putting in place an immediate transport ban on pretty much headed out of these places.

@GMIK69 Meanwhile, the US with its state by state approach would kill about 1/3rd of its current population of egg laying birds every six months at the present rate.

@Infoseepage They are following the bovine epizootic, having 100% of animals infected. US is a failed state, no doubt at this.
