Chaos can make it hard to find your voice. How do I express what I’m feeling and thinking coherently when every moment contains a dramatic change to our reality and each foot step forward seems to release a new cloud of spores that clog our minds with the voices of screaming angels and deamons. We are watching forces of good and evil war for rule of the nation and the headlines.
I am sitting at my desk. And I need to write. I want to write. But I am also afraid of the consequences of just documenting today’s reality.
How did we end up in a world where documenting reality could become a crime?
No - Don’t answer. I know the truth. I see all of you going back and reposting the “I’m a democrat but I can’t vote for Kamala because” posts side by side with the “Why aren’t the democrates fighting harder” posts from those same people. I see the long years of grooming that lured so many to vote for the very people that will make their lives poorer and less free.
Expect an essay later tonight. And if you don’t see one, know that my voice has been stolen and I’m still battling the shadows to get it back.
