Ok #HomeAutomation folks, I would like some advice. I have some lighting circuits I want to smarten up. I have at my disposal Lutron Caseta, zwave, and zigbee.
A few of these circuits are single switch but most of them are multi-switch, either two or three each. I want to use accessory switches rather than the existing three/four ways because the four way switches are literally popping out of the front of the box.
What's my best option? Install the handful of zwave switches I have on hand as a way to move forward? Or should I drop $$$$ on Lutron gear? Or something else?

Follow up: I put an on/off zwave switch I had in stock on a single-switch light and it works great. Only problem is the 4-gang box is very tight so if I want to put more in there (which I do) I'm going to have to get some of the easy-fit switches.

@zrail Get switches where the action matches your existing switches. If they're "top-on/bottom-off" paddles, then get all those. If they're "click anywhere to toggle", get all those.
The protocol doesn't matter much, as you can usually add any kind of radio dongle to your hub. That said, I'm partial to Z-wave for the variety and interoperability.
Don't mix and match actions as that's extremely user hostile. (Especially for your guests.) You'll hate them until you replace them.

@zrail
I started with the Lutron switches a while ago and more recently moved to zigbee as a way to extend my network and found the Inovelli Blue https://inovelli.com to be much better quality than any of the others I tried (including Lutron), but not inexpensive

@zrail personally am a fan of inovelli for my switched loads (zigbee specifically but they have zwave)0
