I'm sorry VTubers, but a computer generated anime character pretending to emote is not visually compelling to me. Almost anything is better. Doesn't have to be your face if you don't wanna show it, but even a stick figure you drew in five seconds is more likely to engage me.

I think it has the same effect as when I hear that text-to-speech voice over on a video. It feels homogenous and uncreative.
