I usually put political stuff behind a CW, but this one is important.

• I am an ally 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ in all that it entails.

• I support DEI initiatives.

• I support science. Obviously.

• I support the right to have an abortion in all cases.

• I believe that immigrants, documented or not, are a vital part of our nation's economy and culture.

• Current global warming is caused by human activity.

• Wearing a facemask helps prevent the spread of contagions.

• Vaccines work.

These truths will not change.

@martinligabue I don't believe I'm breaking any instance or federated instance rules by removing my self-imposed restriction on un-CW'd political posts one time. Regardless, I don't see how this post would do psychic damage to anyone within the marginalized groups that I've referenced. If you disagree, you are well within your rights to mute or block me, but I'm not editing the post.

@serebit I didn't even read the message, as the tw was enough, but now that you've made me, I can confirm that it's not political, or at least not enough to warrant a tw, but I guess it would have been easier if that hadn't been there in the first place, as it made me skip right over it.

Also, don't invoke the rules of the instance, I was just confronting you on the level of manners, otherwise I would have pointed out the rules.
