To paraphrase a few things i boosted earlier:

Nobody needs to hear your gnomic pronouncements that "things are bad" or "things are going to get worse" right now about anything general.

WE KNOW.

"This specific bad thing happened" is helpful. "I'm having this bad thing happen to me" or "I'm panicking," please share. "This bad thing is happening, here's how to respond" is SUPER helpful. "I'm an expert in X and you should know Y" is great.

If it's just armchair prognositcating, well, don't.
