You can rest assured that right now Trump's minions are looking to find anyone who is not a white man related to the crash of the plane and helicopter at Reagan International. Trump and his minions will label the cause of the crash as resulting from DEI.

The USA is now being ruled by awful and bigoted white men and the pick-me enablers they have recruited to America's reich wing.

Now in my politics threads to write down thoughts more explicitly political in nature.

I've seen some saying that Trump 2 isn't any worse than Trump 1. I disagree with that assessment, Trump 2 is worse in a number of ways:

He's definitely going harder of demonization and othering of minority groups.

Project 2025 is providing a structured game plan. It may be the fevered wet dreams of conservatives, but it is a playbook.

The whole sort of abstracted expansion of bigotry into the labels of woke and DEI is amplifying and spreading the scope of the bigotry. It is being used as their excuse to purge minorities from government employment. I believe this part of why there is a lot more intense focus on transgender people this time.

any and all restrictions placed upon the presidency and take over the powers of the legislative and judicial branches.

Yesterday I listened to a couple of documentaries about Nazi Germany before the outbreak of WW2. It was chilling to see the parallels between Trump and Hitler. And the parallels to how German citizenry and German businesses fell into line behind Hitler.

I don't think the military is yet Trumpified although it's obvious that's what Trump and Project 2025 want to do through the appointment of Hesgeth and trying to purge any ideas of DEI in military structures.

Trump 2 is going to be worse and it may break the United States in a number of ways.
