I don't usually put Alt text because it makes scraping easier for AIs, basically Alt text is a prompt. I know that this won't prevent me from losing my job, but I don't want to make it easy for those people who treat us with so much hate and contempt. If I put the two reasons on a scale, I know which one has more weight for me, because the images I share don't have valuable information for a blind person, and honestly, a blind person has never asked me for it.

@harriorrihar @Tudwall the only thing I'd like you to consider is that for the AI is very easy to make a prompt from an image, both if you provide it or not doesn't change much. In any case I will still support you as your stance is more than understandable

Well, data quality is important for AI, AI generates synthetic data, and a precise or accurate human description can make all the difference. And of course, it doesn't matter much at this point, I've been warning about this phenomenon since 2018, and here we are, at a point of no return. That doesn't mean I'm going to give up, we'll find a niche and a solution to the problem, but right now the networks are the enemy.
