So, the scare stories about the World's end, if you build a two-node #Proxmox cluster, are a bit exaggerated. After reading the documentation here https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Two-Node_High_Availability_Cluster and here https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Cluster_Manager I finally get the point. It is highly recommended to have at least three nodes when you build a high-availability cluster. It is totally fine to have two nodes when you don't need high availability.

Did you have a look at the Q-Device which can be used as a dedicated quorum node? It's only slightly mentioned in the Cluster Manager docs in "Corosync External Vote Support" and can quickly be overseen. But in the end, this is also something like "a third node".

@estevez For homelabs, this can also be a lower power device such like RPIs or similar. Also external Docker Container since the connection is established by tcp/ip.
