The quality of journalism in 2025 leaves a lot to be desired. In this example, Danish medium TV2 reports that in the US, DHS lead Kristi Noem is on a mission to arrest extra terrestrials. 👽🛸✨

Obviously someone is mindlessly letting software translate the word “alien”, which in this context means someone who crossed a border — not someone who arrived by spacecraft from another galaxy.

Much worse here in Germany where German state TV and other "independen" media work in overdrive to minimize the fact that Nazi Germany is back:

CDU/CSU and FDP voted in unison with the open fascistic AfD.

It's the Orwell textbook to a "t".

@randahl I mean... at this point I wouldn't be shocked if Noem was actually out there looking for space aliens to arrest. Wouldn't even rank in the top 20 craziest things this administration is up to.
