@davidho I don't expect someone like Altman, whose sole skill set consists of closing large sales, to understand that this sort of thing is just how the mathematics of large language models works.
There's a large but finite corpus of available training data. Despite the fact that people are spewing text onto the internet constantly, there has to be a point at which all the models have seen enough useful input to get as good as they are going to get.
