I downloaded a new Hugo theme and tried it with a brand-new blog today. Then I didn't do anything more with it. Feels like progress.

@jbaty Snap, was looking at Hugo themes today and think Typo looks good.

@markhysted Yeah, I like that one. Today's test with with Anubis2. It feels just the right amount of boring :) https://github.com/Junyi-99/hugo-theme-anubis2

@jbaty Gone for it, I am using the excuse of unplatforming to make the move appear legit, but to be honest it is the same old Mark, moving between different things

@markhysted Don't tell anyone, but I've been tinkering, too. https://copingmechanism.com

@jbaty Really like the name, the theme looks like an improved papermod. Would be tempted myself but changing themes in Hugo is somewhat similar to climbing Everest whilst dressed as big bird.

@markhysted 😄. My blog used PaperMod for a long time. It's a great theme. One goal for this one was to reduce complexity and decisions. I think not having support for featured images is a step in that direction. Plus, I think anubis is simpler overall, even though it's less tweakable.
You're right, changing themes can be a real pain!
