@trebach I made a note of it for Emails at least - but I should mention it elsewhere as well, I guess.

I am undecided on leaving Proton, I made the mistake of signing up to stuff with my protonmail. I should have just used my own domain email and then pointed it towards whichever email provider I decide to use...

It's very disappointing that Proton turned out so disappointing, but I still need to process how and if to switch emails again. I didn't go all in on the other services except VPN, though.

@EvilCartyen @trebach I don't think it's accurate to say Proton is "all in for Trump" - the CEO was talking about tech regulatory practices.

It's not great, but conflating it with endorsement of Trump's bullshit isn't helpful

@mensrea I think the most important thing is to break the monopoly, not exactly what people decide to replace it with.

I don't personally use Brave - I did for a little bit, but I was turned off by the cryptobro vibe - but I am not going to browsershame people trying to degoogle.

Proton - maybe, yes, but for now they are still the most convenient way to degoogle some critical personal digital infrastructure. But they're on notice for sure...
