9/11 happened when I was in first grade, and since then it's been one "unprecedented" school shooting, natural disaster, or economic collapse after another. All while the ruling class has stripped our rights away in the name of "protecting our democracy." We don't even have a democracy anymore. I don't know why anyone expects me to have anything but scorn for this evil, horrible joke of a country
