Anyone else feel like they're just walking through soup? Watching people going about their business, pretending that this shit isn't happening or it's "not that bad"? I'm a trained psychologist with 16 years of experience to help me "cope" and "reframe" and all that shit, and I don't even know what to do with myself half the time.

Yes
The 1st time thru this bullshit, I was depressed the first year, then started to get involved.
Maybe I'm a different type of depressed this time, but I have the added worry of feeling alone in it. I believed I wasn't alone the first time. Knew I was in the majority, but this time, the data told me I'm in the minority and I feel confused by that.

The Republicans and their "mandate" has turned out to be a sham.
Turns out Trump had less than 50%... our fucked up system which includes the electoral college showed him winning. However from votes cast, he had 49.8% to Harris' 48.3%

The difference is 1.9% which I assume came from people who voted 3rd party?
Either way, he got close 50 but it sure as hell isn't a mandate from the people. We're a divided nation, almost exactly in half.
