A favourite local walk of mine not too far from home. Its an old WWII radar station that's being reclaimed by the forest. I have tried to photograph it numerous times and was never happy, but thick fog sure helped! #treetuesday #deltabc

@rlivingston There isn't much left aside from some foundation walls, a stone fence and a small gate. This was the site of the homestead on the base where the homes, school, etc once were. The radar station later became boundary bay airport in Delta BC

@cmurray Ahh. BC. I have been interested in visiting decaying radar stations. One on Ferrer Point on Nootka Island and another on Spring Island near Kyuquot.
