i think it's important to say this because even as it's self-evidently true there's still a tendency to act like "trans people" exist in a walled garden and when you come out as trans you've voided your prior identity and retroactively were always in that garden. but you weren't. it can be anyone.

it is ontologically impossible to exterminate transgender people. if all knowledge of us is wiped from the earth for a christofascist hypermasc dystopia, there will still be men who want to be women and women who want to be men. our threat remains. you cannot kill us in any way that matters.
